Wedding Receptions
The pavilion and grounds at the BPFA provide a great setting for wedding receptions and the pavilion is a regularly hired for this purpose throughout the year.
The bride, groom and their respective families usually have a lot of questions to ask when choosing a wedding venue.
So before you book a viewing of the pavilion an grounds, take a look at the FAQ’s below as these will hopefully answer most of your questions prior to viewing.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many people do you cater for?
We can seat (at a maximum) 120 people in the hall on a rectangular seating plan, Or you can have a stand up buffet. there is a patio area for hog roast and barbecues.
What time can we have the wedding venue from?
You can book it for the whole day and we can let you in as early as you like to set up for your special day.
What time can our music go on until?
Due to local housing across the road, the music must be switched off by 11.30pm. The premises must be vacated by midnight.
Who does the cleaning up?
The venue must be left in the clean and tidy condition that it was found in, You can hire the pavilion for the following morning to clean, which is what most of our clients tend to do!
What equipment can the BPFA provide?
We can only provide a limited number of tables and chairs. Everything else will need to be sourced elsewhere.
Is there space for a band or DJ?
Yes, but depending on numbers you may need to clear some seating after your wedding breakfast.
How can we pay?
To hire the BPFA, we will require a deposit of £50 and the final balance four weeks before your big day. Payments can be made by bank transfer or cheque. The hall hire rate is just £20 per hour before 6pm and £22 after.
